We signed up for the Valentines Dance workshop that was beginner friendly. Both my boyfriend and I had never signed up for formal dance lessons or dance workshops before, so we had no idea what to expect.The studio is on the second floor so we were a little lost at first, but found our way once we stepped inside the building.Our workshop was an hour long, but it flew by so fast. We had such an amazing time. Both Alex and Ana were so sweet, friendly, and very helpful. Alex was cracking jokes throughout the class, helping us feel comfortable too.I look forward to coming back in the future, for more beginner-friendly workshops or even dance lessons. Thank you for having us! 🙂

Excellent studio for salsa or bachata, I just do the bachata, I feel like I always take away something from every class that I attend. They also have so many different types of events throughout the year, so it is also a great way to meet people in the community as well. Would recommend.

I started with bachata and got addicted to salsa!! Alex has been a very professional and helpful instructor in getting from the couch to the dance floor in no time. Highly recommend for those who feel dance is outside of their comfort zone.

ETOWN has been an amazing place to learn Latin dances, including salsa and bachata. Alex and Ana are great teachers in a friendly and easy-going environment. I strongly recommend this studio for a safe and fun dancing experience!

Finished my salsa level 1 course today. I am very shy and never danced before and I dance stiff like a stone but Alex and Ana are very patient and smart and made the experience very easy. Can’t recommend it enough especially to someone who has social anxiety like me and wants some exposure . it’s very easier than i thought. Not a lot of talking everyone be just counting 123 567.You’ll have a workout and smile and learn to take yourself less seriously.

10/10 experience. The staff is friendly, and Alex (the instructor) is great at explaining the dance steps clearly. The people who are apart of the E-Town community are the most down to Earth people you could ever meet. Every class is filled with smiles; Everyone during the classes seem to be happy. Overall, this is definitely one of Edmonton's best Latin Dance studios, and I highly recommend that you attend a class.

Just finished our 1st class for 8-Weeks with Alex. I’ve been wanting to take couples dance lessons my whole life and this was an awesome first experience. Alex broke down the history, music, and the steps; in a very healthy pace. Beautiful new studio and everyone was so friendly! Thank you all so much!(I price shopped and researched a lot and this was definitely the best pick I believe!)

We just completed the 4-week Level 1 Salsa program with Alex! Alex is very friendly, outgoing, and is an amazing instructor who really takes the time to ensure you understand the basics and have a strong foundation of the dance before advancing or giving you new material and moves to attempt.Alex and Ana are confident stepping in to demonstrate moves between you and your partner to give constructive feedback to improve your practice and flow! We were true beginners to dance and we felt nothing but encouraged and supported in their studio! They also offer a variety of events (free or small fee) to allow you more time to learn and practice your skills!!I would recommend Etown Salsa to anyone considering Latin dancing at any level!!Thanks again Alex & Ana! Can't wait to register again!
