Join us for a SPECIAL evening of SALSA & BACHATA dance social. This night is PERFECT for a date night, and even better for SINGLES! Bring your dance shoes and meet a lot of amazing people from all walks of life to enter our doors that night. But the best thing you don't even have to chat you can just DANCE! And if you want to chat, dance talk is usually the mode of choice and your loving it! Don't think twice BUY YOUR TICKTES ONLINE and you will have a fabulous time! Our upcoming dates are Saturday July  26, Friday Aug 1, and Saturday August 23.  This night welcomes everyone from advanced dancers to complete beginners. All nights this summer will be TROPICAL THEME so come in your best Carribean threads! A FREE 75 min class in Latin dances including Salsa & Bachata with demo's in Merengue and Cumbia as well. Get a taste of each dance!  Please register online for our final OPEN HOUSE on Sept 6@11am for FREE! To participate you must each register first here, you will be sent a reminder 24 hrs prior. Please bring a clean pair of shoes for your in person class. The classes that will be available this semester are Latin Dance Program / Salsa Lev 1 / Bachata lev 1 / Salsa & Cumbia lev 1 / Latin Combo SCHEDULE OF DANCE FOR FREE IN-PERSON SESSION -30 min each in the following order. Bachata Salsa Last 15 min wil have demonstrations in Merengue and Cumbia and discussions of how the classes are laid out. note: Please must bring a clean pair of shoes. No outdoor shoes. Flats or Latin heel for ladies, dress shoes or shoes with no or little tread. Needs sole to swivel easy. Please register for only ONE of the open house classes to leave room for other new students. Salsa in the Square Fall Edition 2025 Free lessons Salsa in the Square is BACK once again for its FALL 2025 edition of latin music, dance, and community! Make sure to register yourself for a free class in learning a small portion of the most beautiful Latin dances meant to make you move and enjoy life. Thanks in major part to the Edmonton Arts Council for presenting this event in part with ETOWN SALSA. We have 5 weeks lined up for this fall with a level 1 @6pm and level 1.5 lesson @6:30pm and a social dance from 7-8pm. We have also a special live band night on our finale night Sept 30 with a LIVE LATIN BAND and special time from 6-9pm with a * Level 1 Lesson in Salsa @6-6:30pm, * Live Latin Band @6:30pm -7:30pm, * Level 1.5 lesson in Mambo @7:30-8pm, * Live Latin Band 8-9pm to finish the night. Its spring time and its time to dance at the Square once again outdoors. Every Wednesday will feature a different lesson and its FREE! Thanks in major part to the Edmonton Arts Council for presenting this event in part with ETOWN SALSA. We have 8 weeks lined up for this spring with a level 1 @6pm and level 1.5 lesson @6:30pm and a social dance from 7-8pm. We have also a special live band night on our finale night June 24 with a LIVE LATIN BAND RUMBA CALIENTE and special time from 6-9pm with a * Level 1 Lesson in Mambo @6-6:30pm, * Live Latin Band @6:30pm -7:30pm, * Level 1.5 lesson in Mambo @7:30-8pm, * Live Latin Band 8-9pm to finish the night. Salsachata - Great date night even better for singles. Salsachata is back and we have a treat for all of you.  Step into our studios just off whyte avenue and 99 st and come take our beginner lesson or just come dance!  Our motto is " Great date night and even better for singles!" and so this welcomes absolute beginners as well as current students and dance community dancers!  The lesson starts at 8:30pm and its FALL THEME COLORS so wear your favorite fall outfits ( yellow /orange/ red / brown clothing) for the evening. The 2 rooms will open up at 10pm if there is enough dancers to open up ,otherwise we will have one room play both genres.
