Join us for a SPECIAL evening of SALSA & BACHATA dance social. This night is PERFECT for a date night, and even better for SINGLES! So it welcomes all singles and couples. You don't need a partner. Bring your dance shoes and meet a lot of amazing people from all walks of life to enter our doors that night. But the best thing you don't even have to chat you can just DANCE! And if you want to chat, dance talk is usually the mode of choice and your loving it! Don't think twice BUY YOUR TICKTES ONLINE and you will have a fabulous time! Spring is here and Salsachatas are going stronger than ever! Our March 22 event had 90 attendees throughout the night, and if you missed the performances, we plan to have more chances to watch some great performances by ETOWNs members. Valentine’s Salsa Workshops FRI FEB 13

Feb 13 Valentine's Salsa Workshop If your wanting a more intimate time in a smaller space for your romantic dance night out or your occupied on Saturday Feb 14 and Friday is your option, then come dance for an hour of Salsa at a beginners level. Meant to be a fun, romantic night for you both, you will get to learn a few dance moves and put them to practice with your partner. We promise to make them very easy and fun! We have 2 timeslots available on FRIDAY but these will not last long as we only have space for 7 couples per workshop.   FRIDAY FEBRUARY 13 6pm or 7:15pm times available

Salsachata is back and we have a treat for all of you.  Step into our new studios just off whyte avenue and 99 st and come take our beginner lesson or just come dance!  Our motto is " Great date night and even better for singles!" and so this welcomes absolute beginners as well as current students and dance community dancers!   In addition, you will enjoy performances by our Salsa and Bachata teams! The lesson starts at 8:30pm and the performances start at 10pm!  We also will have 2 rooms to play with a dedicated Salsa room with occasional Cha-chas and a Bachata room with occasional Merengues. The 2 rooms will open up at 10:10pm and prior we will have one room play both genres. For parking map, click here:   Performances, Lesson and DANCING! It all started in the summer of 2003 when Alejandro went to Los Angeles and saw a vision of a Salsa dance community that really created a passion. Starting his own business in 2008, his passion that to this day continues to grow with not only his new generation of dancers, but so many students in the dance community that still continue to dance not only Salsa but also Bachata and other Latin dances! Salsa in the Square – May 6 – Merengue Night

Its spring time and its time to dance at the Square once again outdoors. Every Wednesday will feature a different lesson and its FREE! Thanks in major part to the Edmonton Arts Council for presenting this event in part with ETOWN SALSA. We have 8 weeks lined up for this spring with a level 1 @6pm and level 1.5 lesson @6:30pm and a social dance from 7-8pm. We have also a special live band night on our finale night June 24 with a LIVE LATIN BAND RUMBA CALIENTE and special time from 6-9pm with a * Level 1 Lesson in Mambo @6-6:30pm, * Live Latin Band @6:30pm -7:30pm, * Level 1.5 lesson in Mambo @7:30-8pm, * Live Latin Band 8-9pm to finish the night.
