Salsa in the Square – May 6 – Merengue

FREE dance lessons at the CHurchill Square Salsa in the Square is BACK once again for its Spring 2025 edition of latin music, dance, and community! Make sure to register yourself for a free class in learning a small portion of the most beautiful Latin dances meant to make you move and enjoy life. Thanks in major part to the Edmonton Arts Council for presenting this event in part with ETOWN SALSA. We have 5 weeks lined up for this spring with a level 1 @6pm and level 1.5 lesson @6:30pm and a social dance from 7-8pm. We have also a special live band night on our finale night June 3 with Rumba Caliente and special time from 6-9pm with a level 1 lesson in Mambo @6-6:30pm, then 6:30pm -7:30pm with Rumba Caliente, level 1.5 lesson in Mambo @7:30-8pm, then 8-9pm once again with Rumba Caliente. Bailemos 2026! June 5

ETOWN SALSA presents its 18th annual BAILEMOS night to be held at the Muttart Theatre located in the basement of the Edmonton Public Library Downtown on Friday June 5, 2026. Every year, ETOWN SALSA puts on a Latin dance showcase presenting not only Latin dance but also in the past has presented Hiphop, Belly Dance, Kpop, Breakdance, and many more dances from the world. This year we have already confirmed dance schools such as EDC, Shane & Avideh, Casa Tango, Morada, Gem Dance, Fabian Castillo, and Sabrosura  to be our guest dance groups to present a number or 2 at this years Bailemos Gala Night. We have a 2 hour show to display Edmonton's best!    Bailemos 2026! A Latin dance super show!   ONLINE TICKET SALES CLOSED THERE WILL BE 50 tickets at the door, COME EARLY $25 per (debit/credit accepted)
