The ETOWN SALSA Team is pleased to host an annual fundraising event that is open to the public in addition to all students and Latin dance lovers.  This is our 17th annual gala event that will be held Thursday May 22, 2025 at the Muttart Theatre ( Edmonton Public Library basement ) downtown. This evening is a showcase event that will display ETOWN SALSA's many dance teams as well as guest performers that also are part of the Latin dance community.

Join us for a SPECIAL evening of SALSA & BACHATA dance social. This night is PERFECT for a date night, and even better for SINGLES! So it welcomes all singles and couples. You don't need a partner. Bring your dance shoes and meet a lot of amazing people from all walks of life to enter our doors that night. But the best thing you don't even have to chat you can just DANCE! And if you want to chat, dance talk is usually the mode of choice and your loving it! Don't think twice BUY YOUR TICKTES ONLINE and you will have a fabulous time! Spring is here and Salsachatas are going stronger than ever! Our March 22 event had 90 attendees throughout the night, and if you missed the performances, we plan to have more chances to watch some great performances by ETOWNs members. FREE ADMISSION for this event. Salsa in the Square is BACK once again for its Spring 2025 edition of latin music, dance, and community! Make sure to register yourself for a free class in learning a small portion of the most beautiful Latin dances meant to make you move and enjoy life. Thanks in major part to the Edmonton Arts Council for presenting this event in part with ETOWN SALSA. We have 6 weeks lined up for this spring with a level 1 @6pm and level 1.5 lesson @6:30pm and a social dance from 7-8pm. We have also a special live band night on June 3 with Rumba Caliente and special time from 6-9pm with a level 1 lesson in Mambo @6-6:30pm, then 6:30pm -7:30pm with Rumba Caliente, level 1.5 lesson in Mambo @7:30-8pm, then 8-9pm once again with Rumba Caliente.
