Salsa in the Square – June 17 – Bachata

City Hall / Churchill Square 7 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Its spring time and its time to dance at the Square once again outdoors. Every Wednesday will feature a different lesson and its FREE! Thanks in major part to the Edmonton Arts Council for presenting this event in part with ETOWN SALSA. We have 8 weeks lined up for this spring with a level 1 @6pm and level 1.5 lesson @6:30pm and a social dance from 7-8pm. We have also a special live band night on our finale night June 24 with a LIVE LATIN BAND RUMBA CALIENTE and special time from 6-9pm with a * Level 1 Lesson in Mambo @6-6:30pm, * Live Latin Band @6:30pm -7:30pm, * Level 1.5 lesson in Mambo @7:30-8pm, * Live Latin Band 8-9pm to finish the night. Salsachata June 20 - WORLD CUP JERSEY NIGHTS Salsachata is back and we have a treat for all of you.  Step into our studios just off whyte avenue and 99 st and come take our beginner lesson or just come dance!  Our motto is " Great date night and even better for singles!" and so this welcomes absolute beginners as well as current students and dance community dancers!  The lesson starts at 8:30pm and its WORLD CUP FEVER so wear your favorite teams jersey for the evening. We also will have 2 rooms to play with a dedicated Salsa room with occasional Cha-chas and a Bachata room with occasional Merengues. The 2 rooms will open up at 10pm if there is enough dancers to open up ,otherwise we will have one room play both genres.
