The Edmonton Arts Council in association with ETOWN SALSA are bringing you, for the 5th year in a row, Salsa in the Square. Salsa in the Square 2026FREE Latin Dance Lessons Ready to feel the rhythm? Dive into Free Latin Dance Tuesdays all September long! Whether you're completely new to the dance floor or looking to level up your steps, each week brings a brand-new style to master in a fun, high-energy environment. Join a vibrant community that brought out over 60 dancers every week last spring, capping off the season with a massive 100+ person dance party! Weekly Schedule (Every Tuesday in September) 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Featured Beginner-Friendly Latin Dance Lesson Here is our agenda for the following 5 weeks of Salsa in the Square: Sept 1 - Merengue Sept 8 - Cumbia Sept 15 - Bachata Sept 22 - Salsa Sept 29 - Chacha / Mambo also feature RUMBA CALIENTE 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Open Social Dancing (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, & Cha-Cha) Season Finale Highlight – September 29 Special Live Guests: Rumba Caliente bringing unforgettable live music to close out the month!
